Upper Hunter Homeless is proud to welcome and support all Upper Hunter residents. We work across all communities and localities. On our client list are families and individuals, youth, seniors, Aboriginal and Torres Strait islander people, NDIS participants and members of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Heartworks Pop Up Art Exhibition

Date: 10am Thursday 12th June 2025

Since late 2024, Upper Hunter Homeless Support has partnered with social and mental health services to deliver creative arts programs aimed at improving mental health, reducing stigma, and strengthening service-client relationships. This initiative was funded by the Primary Health Network (PHN).

The pop up exhibition features works from a 6 week program led by artists Catherine Hickson and Holly McDonald, working with clients from Singleton Family Support and The Bridge. The exhibition is on view at the Singleton Library throughout June, with a morning tea on June 12th to celebrate the participants.

National NAIDOC Week

Date: 6 - 13 July 2025

National NAIDOC Week celebrations are held across Australia in the first week of July each year, to celebrate and recognise the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. NAIDOC Week is an opportunity for all Australians to learn about First Nations cultures and histories and participate in celebrations of the oldest, continuous living cultures on earth.

2025 Sandy Hollow Motorfest - Major Raffle

The Sandy Hollow Charity Motorfest, held annually at the Sandy Hollow Tourist Hotel, is a beloved community event that blends motorsport excitement with heartfelt giving.

Upper Hunter Homeless provides case management under the "Going Home Staying Home Program" which supports people who are at risk of homelessness or who are homeless.
